Coffeehead
8-10 Railway Parade, Camberwell
Exploring is exciting, but Melbourne is enough to satisfy me at the moment. I spaz enough when I visit a new suburb.

Pre-lunch latte. Creamy.
Corn fritters w avocado, smoked salmon, poached egg & harissa hollandaise
I compiled a written list of cafes suspected to offer corn fritters - ah the extent of my obsession >.> Which isn’t too bad, considering I came close to choosing the pulled pork tacos. It was almost a question of individuality. ^^;
Just ripe avocado, mildly salty salmon and the goodness of crisp, sweet fritters. Creamy hollandaise and yolk filled in the gaps.
Credits to L for teaching me a valuable lesson: take my time drinking coffee. My distress at not being able to smell the cranberries in her flat white prompted me to pace myself and really take in the aroma. A short, but definite whiff of butterscotch brought me back to food technology and a wheelchair in year eight. Something dark was there too, though now that I think about it, currants didn’t seem right.
The next hour or two was spent playing word association. Interesting results.
