I was late to a Thursday bakefest, so missed out on making brownies T^T Ever the good friends they were, they opted for watching Merlin until I arrived for shortbread and almond cookies :3
The latter held alot better than the ones I made at home, so I probably added too much oil/not enough flour to my own.
Almond biscuits! I got the original recipe from a friend. Mother protested that I should play with the ratios of ingredients so that they’re less crumbly, but I like them this way. They echo very faintly of my childhood. Their fragility also places incredible emphasis on the delightful crunch of the toasted almond piece atop.
Tuesday morning baking for Tuesday afternoon picnic; I never attended.
